The Vipers are set and geared to take on Whitby in this first round playoff series. With the addition of Joe Hawley and Chad Birkoff at the February 10 deadline , it gives Norwood the depth it needs to insure they have a solid lineup for every game.
Players and staff are pumped and know what they have to do to get by the Dunnies. Solid goaltending, balanced effective offence and accountable defence is where Norwood has the edge on Whitby. Norwood is not a one line team.
Comparing to years past, reminicing about the year they beat Whitby, the last three years whitby was strong and ended up on top and this years Vipers are not going to go away easy.
I know this team has the capability and desire to make an impression in this new MLH league.
Game one Saturday in Whitby 6:30 game time, can't wait!!

Vipers vs Dunlops" Can Norwood shake the Whitby
curse and put the Dunnies on the greens early??
Norwood has a healthy lineup, goaltender Simon Labelle back in the blue
and white and altogether 25 players chewing at the bit to get at start at
this 2009 playoffs.

The Vipers are waiting for Whitby and Dundas to finish up this weekend to see who the Vipers will have as an opponent in the first round of the playoffs.
The first home game could be Sunday March 1st.
If The Vipers play Whitby, the first game could be Saturday February 28.
Hopefully our fan base has locked down their playoff tickets and will get out to follow the team through playoffs.
